Valentine’s Day Police Arrests

Bryan Police used Facebook to catch a man and woman accused of damaging her ex-husband’s new Jeep. Investigators found a profanity-laced series of Facebook messages between 20 year olds Joseph Woods Smith and Lily Anderson, whose real name is Gina Wilfong.Being upset about what her ex was saying about her online, Wilfong told Smith she hoped her ex, quoting the police report, “enjoys the broken glass” and “breaking glass is awesome stress reliever”. Damage to the Jeep was estimated at over $1,700 dollars.
In a seperate case, an 18 month old child is safe and its mother is in jail accused of leaving them unsupervised for two and a half hours. College Station Police found the mother unconscious in her vehicle. The woman, while being arrested for public intoxication, said her child was by itself at home. 23 year old Ashley Ellen of College Station was also charged with child abandonment.

Police located the Facebook conversation in question, where Wilfong, a.k.a Lily Anderson (?), wrote that she was mad that the owner of the Jeep had been trash-talking her, and then explained how she “enjoys the broken glass,” and that “breaking glass is an awesome stress reliever,” according to the police report.
