New Telephone Scam in B/CS

A new round of phone scams are making their way around the twin cities. The College Station and Bryan Police Departments have come out with a list of red flags.

Bryan policeman Jon Agnew says to call authorities if you receive what he describes as strange calls demanding victims to pay up using a gift card among other options.

Agnew says if you’re threatened over the phone, hang up and call authorities.
