2 More File for CS Council

There are two more College Station residents interested in running for the vacant city council seat left by the June death of Larry Stewart.

Filing Thursday was Dr. John Nichols, professor and head of the agricultural economics department at Texas A&M University.

Also filing was Timothy Delasandro, a critical care registered nurse who earlier this year was a candidate in the Republican primary for Congress.

Nichols and Delasandro join Jana McMillan seeking to finish Stewart’s term that ends next May.

The filing deadline is August 27th. Early voting begins October 18th.
